I just don't like the red, it gives my eyes a bitter sensation, it clashes with everything around me. Then, once the Uruk fell, it all just went dark again, not to my usual blue, just dark, no lights. In a way, it was neat to see such a reaction happen, but i just didn't like the red. While logged in, i went and stabbed a poor unsuspecting Uruk to see if the red lights would come on, and they did. I can't seem to find an option to let me block LotRO from changing my lights, if someone else does please let me know. I got LotRO on the panel and set it to 'Use Current AlienFX State.' Then i logged back in and. With this update came a new editing panel, 'AlienAdrenaline,' which lets you set different environments for different games. Meanwhile, i started delving into my FX control panel, and ended up running an update (don't know the date on it, some people may already have the updated version). I don't like my tower on the floor, especially with my chocolate lab in the house, and we haven't found a perfect desk set-up that works for us yet. My tower actually sits on top of a table, in my line of site, so i see it all the time, not to mention my keyboard is kinda right here in my face.
